Paintings

These selected works, created between 2004 and 2018, were displayed in solo and group exhibitions at art fairs, contemporary art centers, and museums. These works showcase Afsaneh’s artistic journey over her lifetime. During this period, Afsaneh’s focus was on painting, printmaking, and drawing—especially portraits of women—through which she addressed important social issues. Her art combines stories shaped by the society she has experienced since childhood, influenced by war, sanctions, economic hardships, protests, and revolutions. Each piece serves as a reflection of the real lives of her homeland community.
